5 Amazing Things You Can Do With Your Tesla

Teslas are some of the best electric cars when it comes to performance. However, Tesla has some unique features that make using a Tesla a very satisfying experience. I have rounded up five amazing things you can do with your Tesla. If you didnā€™t know about them, prepare to be amazed.

Play Video Games

Your Tesla might primarily be meant for transportation, but nothing says you canā€™t have some fun with it! While you are parked, you can play a game on the main screen. One of the most popular games is Beach Buggy Racing, and you can even control the racing car with your steering wheel, brake pedal and accelerator. If you so desire, you can play against a human opponent that will control their vehicle by touching the screen. It is a good way to pass the time while charging.

Dog Mode

So many dogs have died after being locked in a car while outside temperature rise. However, all a Tesla owner needs to do is turn on Dog Mode before they leave their beloved canines in the car. The cabin will be automatically kept cool, and your pets will be fine. A message on the main screen will inform concerned passers-by that the furry friends are safe and their owner will soon return.

Block explicit lyrics

If you want to preserve the innocence of your young ones, Tesla is ready to assist. Just make sure you turn on the feature to block explicit lyrics before jamming to tunes in your Tesla, and your kidsā€™ tender ears would be spared of adult language. This is because the infotainment system will automatically block out songs that your kids should not be listening to. This is one of the family-oriented features that Tesla includes in their cars.

Sentry Mode

Tesla takes security to the next level with the Sentry Mode. Thieves might try to steal your car, or vandals might want to damage your Tesla, which is not a rare occurrence for electric vehicles. However, with Sentry Mode, your vehicle will start recording when somebody stands too close and for too long near it. A message on the screen will inform the would-be intruder or vandal they are being recorded, and classical music will belt out from the speakers.

Bioweapon defense mode

Donā€™t allow the name to scare you as your Tesla isnā€™t taking you to the epicenter of a bioweapon war. However, with the models with the proper hardware (HEPA filtration system), the mode will make your Tesla filter the air in the cabin to keep you safe. This feature is handy when you are near a forest fire or another source of smoke.

UPS Enlists Electric Quad Bikes for Last Mile Deliveries

UPS announced on Friday that it was testing a four-wheeled "eQuad" electric cargo bike for delivery in densely populated metropolitan locations where cyclists have better and easier access, as part of its push into electric vehicles.

According to Luke Wake, UPS vice president of fleet maintenance and engineering, the package-delivery giant is testing about 100 of the electric bikes, developed and produced by British manufacturer calledĀ Fernhay, in seven European regions and will also conduct trials in the United States and several Asian countries.

In addition to making public promises to reduce their carbon footprints, package-delivery businesses are looking for innovative methods to reduce the cost of last-mile deliveries in the face of surging e-commerce orders.

UPS's eQuad has an electric-assisted peak speed of roughly 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) - you can go quicker if you pedal hard - and can carry up to 200 kilograms (441 lb) of products. Its rechargeable battery has a range of around 40 miles (64 kilometers), which Wake claims is more than enough for urban journeys.

Because the vehicle is merely 36 inches (91 cm) wide, it is permitted to utilize bike lanes and enter pedestrian zones that UPS vans and trucks are not permitted to enter. Drivers would normally have to exit their cars and place things onto trolleys to cover those last few feet to the customers doorstep.
